1. Expect to be accepted for who you are upon your first visit.  You will find people dressed in everything from blue jeans to neck ties, leaning more toward the casual.  If you are not warmly greeted chances are they would be another first time guest seeking the same acceptance you would enjoy. Treats are provided in the lobby.
  1. We believe worship is a joyful way to connect with one another and celebrate God's love for us. The service starts at 10:00AM.  We currently offer one service that blends 20% contemporized hymns and 80% current worship songs.  The words to all the songs appear on the screen as an invitation for you to sing with us and join the celebration.
  1. Our method of serving communion is Intinction.  One comes forward down the inside isles and is served by an usher a piece of bread to slightly dip into a cup of wine and then be eaten.  After being served you may return to your seat by the outer isles. You do not need to be a member to partake of the Lord's Supper with us.  We only require that you are a Christ follower before partaking. As our guest giving is optional.

  2. How we care for children! A designated greeter in the lobby is eager to assist you in locating your child's classroom or nursery.  Any children old enough to listen and walk are invited to be seated on the front row with their teachers for a children's blessing early in the service.  After the blessing the teachers will lead the children to their classrooms or you may want them to remain with you in worship.  Children's Sunday school is held during the service.
  1. We value the safety of every child at New Beginnings.  Therefore we require a background check on every volunteer working with children.  We also request, that you register your child with the teacher so we may find you if your child needs you during worship and release the child to you alone.  Parents may go with your child to the nursery until they feel comfortable with our caregivers. If your child is sick please don't bring your child to church out of consideration for others.
  1. Attention nursing mothers!  The nursing mother's room is available to you at the back of the sanctuary and accessible from the lobby.  A one way mirror allows you to watch the service in private and control the sound from within the room.
